DT card for Crafty Emblies - Anything goes challenge

Good evening and Happy Easter
It is currently the Mid way point in our challenge over at Crafty Emblies and this months challenge as with all our challenge from now on our 'Anything Goes'.
I love using these gorgeous wooden emblies on my projects and this card just shows how easy and verstile they really are.

I have used a Forever Friends image from the Do Crafts celebration disc and made my own digitage
The backing paper is from the Boofle CD rom and I created the sentiment using Digital designer aswell.
And to finish off this card for my aunt I have used the gorgeous 1# butterfly and some of the equally fab wooden buttons from Crafty Emblies

All I have done to the buttons is thread some twine through the holes and tied a simple bow but am sure you will agree wether you leave these emblishments as they come or ink them like I have the butterfly they look fab.

You still have plenty of time to join us over at the challenge so please do come and share your creations with us.

Hugs

Couple of cards to share

Good Morning Blog land. I have been busy working on a few cards over the last couple of days so thought I would share them with you.
The first was for a friend of mine for her boyfriend who is a mad F1 fan

The next I made for a friends birthday was just a quick make but I actually really like how its turned out. I have used Do Crafts FF image and made my own pirimage and sentiment. The stamped 'happy birthday' is a circadesign stamp. I have also used Co'ordinations Tillie dot

Next my aunty called me Friday evening and asked would there be any chance I could make her 2 cards by Sunday. She needed a 1st Birthday card for a little boy and a easter card for a very religious friend. Here is what I came up with for her.

I used a Me To You image from the Do Crafts Cd rom then used digital designer to make my own pirimage. The backing paper is by Kanban that ive had for ages.

I have used gold holligraphic card from my stash and some cream co'ordinations Tillie Dot. I have used a flourish from Crafty Emblies and again I used digital designer to make my own pirimage image of Jesus risen for Easter.

Well I did say I had been busy thanks for looking if you got this far.

Cute and Girlie

Good Morning everyone.
I have been having a play about with my new Party Paws collection, for those that dont know this cute little guy is called Bamboo and I just love him.
I have made a commissioned card and the spec was cute and girlie its for a 10yr old. This card took me a fair few hours to complete as I had to make all the flowers as I had none ready in my stash but I think its turned out really well.

I used the image from the Crafters Companion cd rom and imported it into DoCrafts digital designer and made my own primage. The flowers are created using the Cherry Lynn Designs small, medium and large Rose die's (although I havent created an actual rose)

It is an 8x8 easel card and I have used thr Woodware large birthday stamp (which I LOVE), I created the 3 layer bow using my ultimate pro bow maker and have also used some co'ordidations Tillie Dot card on the bottom. The whole card base is made from Centura Pearl crafters companion 16x16 cardstock just cut down.

I wish to enter this card into the challenge over at Kaboodle Doodles #163 - Anything with frills (lace, ribbon, pearls)

I hope you like it as much as I do

Happy Friday folks
I have been busy this week finishing off my Mother's Day orders and also making some small candle box cards. These are just a smaller version of the one I normally do but they only hold 6 candles instead of 12. I had an order for 6 of these from a lovely lady in Wales who makes her own jewllery and wanted that extra special gift box to present them in.

She asked me to make 3 Christening cards all for girls and the only spec was that she wanted a cross on them

She also asked for 3 Mother's Day cards all cute.

They arrived safely this morning and she was over the moon with them so much so she has ordered another copule for Easter, Happy Days

Thanks for looking

Its my Nephew's Birthday tomorrow and although I can remember him as a little baby like it was yesterday he is infact going to be 17. Makes me feel old that as I was actually younger than he is now when he was born lol

I have made him an extra special card this year and what makes it so special is ive used his own artwork as my topper and another drawing of his to create a backing paper.

Now these are by no means his original designs but they are his very own drawings. Im sure you will agree they are fab I am so bloody proud of him I could burst.

I used Do Crafts digital design studio to resize this image and create the sentiment

I used the same software to create the backing paper using his other drawing and a patterned paper from the Boofle cd rom.

I know I am biased but I think his drawings are just brilliant.

Hope you like it and any comments are greatly appreciated

Good afternoon Blogland,
I have some really exciting news to share with you all. A few weeks ago I was approached by a friend from a craft group im a member of on Facebook. She asked me would I like to join a new DT for Crafty-Emblies. If you havent already do go over and check out the website, they have fabulous wooden emblishments and lots lots more.
There is also a challenge blog and the current theme is 'Wings'. Now wether your a paper crafter like myself or you love mixed media/alted art there is a place for you as we have 2 design teams showing off all the fab Emblies.
So here is my DT project for the 'wings' theme

I have used some gorgeous bird and flower emblies on my 'book' card. All I have done to these wooden emblishments is run an ink pad over the top just to give them a light pinkish colour so that they fit in with the colour scheme of my card. They are so easy to colour but they also look just as good left in all their wooden glory.
This is the inside of my book card and as you can see I have used  more of the smaller sized birds.

I hope you will come along and join in with the challenge which will run until 30th March for the paper craft element. Why not pop over and take a look at the rest of the fab DT work.

Hugs
