I have coloured this in using Spectrum Noirs, now i know i wont be winning any awards for my colouring but I do love to colour. To make the green of the card match the green of the nested shaped i coloured them with my speccies too.

I have used one of Sal's images which can be found in the Etsy shop - its called Monster Party

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir markers. I have doodled a spider web in behind the image as i felt there was too much 'white' space. The embelishments and sentiment are all from google. I created the spider backing paper from an image on google which i took in Do Crafts Digital Designer and created my own backing paper with it.

New DT SLS Lines - New Release

Good Afternoon Blogland,
I have some exciting news to share with you all. I have been invited to join the DT over at
SLS Lines challenge Blog.  It is a monthly challenge blog with a fab DT and I am really pleased to join the team.

Here are some links you may find useful :-

I am going to show you something I have made using 1 of the new releases from Sal which can be found over at the Etsy shop. I have used Cute Monsters

In this stamp set you get 9 seperate monsters as shown above.

I decided to make some 'snap/pairs' playing cards. I printed out the 9 monsters 6 times each and coloured in each image two times in the same colour so I ended up with 3 different colour ways. 2 of each colour, as shown above. This makes 54 cards in total.
My daughter is made up with these and has been playing with them and has even taken them into school to show her teacher and play with her friends and break and lunch time.

I also used a My Minds eye backing paper and coated the back of each card so they look more like playing cards.

We currently have an anything goes challenge on over at the blog so why not pop on over and enter we would love to see your work.

Challenges:
TTCRD - AG
Whimsey Stamps - Early Halloween

Wedding Gifts for friends

Evening Bloggers,
I thought I would share with you my latest makes. I attended a wedding in Ireland on Saturday for my other halves best friend. We had a lovely 4 days break and some quality time together as my daughter Roslyn stayed at home with my sister. Anyway as we are on a tight budget and with the obvious cost of travelling to Derry and then onto Donegal I decided to make gifts for the bride and groom.

I wanted to make something that they would want to keep and be a reminder of the lovely day. I eventually decided on a typography design and I thought I could frame it. He is what I came up with.

I also wanted to make a candle and card so I had a look through my CD's and decided on an image from Crafter's Companion bebunni Love range. Here is how it turned out,

I decided to use the same image to create the card. I teamed it up with one the Glitter Girls embossing boards and some Centura Pearl Elegance A3 card.

I really enjoyed making these items and I just hope the bride and groom like them as much as I do.

Thanks for stopping by.
