Another Mother's Day card

Good Morning everyone, Bit dull and lifeless here today but making these lovely bright spring coloured cards seems to be cheering me up some.

Today I have another Mother's day card to share with you, and again I have used my new CD Rom for the image and backing papers. This is for an order for a friend of mine so I hope she likes it.

Another card from my free CD Rom

I have just finished making this birthday card using my free gift from Papercraft Inspirations this month. I am so pleased with this CD rom it has got loads of things to choose from I am hooked.

The image is a Cute Companion off the CD Rom

I cut the nested flowers for the circle sentiment out using MTC - sentiment from Chrsitine (visit her blog here )

The flowers and buttons are all from stash.

Mother's Day Card

I received my copy of Papercraft Inspirations through the post yesterday and the free gift this month is a CD rom called 'Favourites edition'. It has on over 500 printable elements using the characters forever friends, country companions, Hugs and Honey and Daisy and Dandelion. It is fantatstic, definately worth buying the mag for.

I am totally loving the forever friends elements on the disc as FF are my favourite to work with anyway. You get decoupage sheets and everything but for a change I set myself the challenge to make my 1st card using the disc with one of the other sets so here is a Mother's Day card I have made using one of the Country Compainions images and papers from FF section.

I used my cricut cart Storybook to cut the 'MUM' and the flowers are from my stash. The 'with love' embellishment is also printed from off the disc.

Boys Card

I always seem to struggle when it comes to boys/mens cards and never know what to do for them so I was a little bit apprehensive when I needed a 5th birthday card for a boy (Roslyn is off to a party tomorrow for 1 of her school friends) until his mum told me he loves Ben 10. So I made the following card on her advice.

Reciepe:
I have used the 'stars' CB folder on the plain card

DP are a prima set 'my little guy collection'

I used my cricut to cartridge Alphalicous to cut the 5 and 'today' then put them through the CB folder 'swiss dots'.

I have chalked around the entire card using Dovecrafts 'brights' set as it looked to plain in just white.

The image was downloaded from the internet and then resized in My Craft Studio.

I hope he likes it.
