Afternoon Blogland,
I am here today to share with you a project I have made for the Charisma Cardz challenge that went live on Thursday 26th. This fortnight we want to see other types of crafts - so Anything but a card, as we want to see what else you lovely bloggers can do.
As usual there is some fab prizes up for grabs
Prize one
One lucky winner will receive 4 stamps or 1 stamp set.
Prize Two
Kenny K's is a fab online digi shop
with fun upbeat digi's for all your crafting needs!
I have created a gift for my daughter's teacher for the end of term.
I cut a heart shape from some very thick corrigated card to make a heart shaped wreath.
I then set about creating a load of rosettes in all different sizes and patterned papers, but tried to keep them all to similiar colour tones.
I then went on to create a smaller heart wreath which I then printed out the sentiment for the centre. I have also decorated this with more rosettes to match the large heart. I also cut up strips of pink paper and covered the entire heart wreath so that it hid the corrigated card
Next I created a even smaller heart wreath covered this in the same way as above and added the teachers name via a printout. I found the small 'teaching is a work of heart' image sentiment on google and thought it was perfect to tie all my hearts together
Here is the finished project
I am really pleased with how this turned out and have made a seconded one for the teaching assisstant also. This was great fun to make and I think I may have to make some as gifts as I think the look fab and would make a lovely wall hanging in anyones home.
