Charisma Cardz - Anything but a card challenge

Afternoon Blogland,
I am here today to share with you a project I have made for the Charisma Cardz challenge that went live on Thursday 26th. This fortnight we want to see other types of crafts - so Anything but a card, as we want to see what else you lovely bloggers can do.
As usual there is some fab prizes up for grabs

Prize one

One lucky winner will receive 4 stamps or 1 stamp set.

Prize Two

Kenny K's is a fab online digi shop
with fun upbeat digi's for all your crafting needs!

I have created a gift for my daughter's teacher for the end of term.

I cut a heart shape from some very thick corrigated card to make a heart shaped wreath.
I then set about creating a load of rosettes in all different sizes and patterned papers, but tried to keep them all to similiar colour tones.

I then went on to create a smaller heart wreath which I then printed out the sentiment for the centre. I have also decorated this with more rosettes to match the large heart. I also cut up strips of pink paper and covered the entire heart wreath so that it hid the corrigated card

Next I created a even smaller heart wreath covered this in the same way as above and added the teachers name via a printout. I found the small 'teaching is a work of heart' image sentiment on google and thought it was perfect to tie all my hearts together

Here is the finished project

I am really pleased with how this turned out and have made a seconded one for the teaching assisstant also. This was great fun to make and I think I may have to make some as gifts as I think the look fab and would make a lovely wall hanging in anyones home.

Challenges:
That Craft Place - AG - blog hop

I have coloured him in with my Sakura Aquarell water colours. The backing papers are all freebies from a mag I have had these in my stash for ages I cant even think who they are by.  The sentiment is by Circadesigns.
The flowers are La Pashe and you just print them and cut them out I forgot I even had these and I love how they look on this card. To top it off I added a double ribbon bow and some bling.

Christmas Fun - CAS or Anything Goes

Good Morning, I am back again with a post for Christmas Fun this time. This month the theme is Clean And Simple OR Anything Goes.
Now I really struggle with CAS cards as I love to emblish or have lots patterned papers ribbon bows etc so I knew this would be a hard one for me to tackle. Now I have tried to keep it as CAS as I could and it nearly killed me lol
Here is my card

I have used Do Crafts Percy and Penelope decoupage collection ( I have had this for a number of years but I love these little guys). I have teamed this up with some papers from the same collection and also created a ribbon border with the papers. The sentiment is also from the collection.

Thank You for stopping by and I hope you will come and play along with us over at the challenge blog.

Just For Fun - Here Comes Summer challenge

Good Morning Bloggers,
I am here today to share with you my DT project for the Just For Fun challenge. The theme this month is 'Here Comes Summer'. It sounds like an easy subject but I was struggling a bit so started looking through my stamps and digi images etc and just couldnt decide on anything So I decided to make a wreath frame out of pinwheels/rosettes. I have been thinking about making one of these for a while now so thought this was the perfect opportunity to do so.

I have used bright sunny papers as this was the look I was going for and it also totally reminds me of summer days.  I have used papers from an A5 paper pack called Vintage Florals which was a freebie from a mag. 6x6 paper pack called Ice Cream Sundae another freebie and also some American crafts 12x12 My Girl papers. The button are from the docrafts spots and stripes collection.

I havent decided wether I am going to add a photo to it or just leave it as is hanging on my craftroon door.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your entries over on the challenge blog
