Popcorn commision card

Evening all,
I just thought id pop on and show you the card I have made this afternoon for a commissioned card.
I was asked for an anniversary card but for 59 years so had no specific theme i.e. ruby or golden. I was looking through my CD's and decided to make a Popcorn card. I have the romance/love CD and all the stamps but decided to go with my favourite thing decoupage/pyrimage.

I have printed out the image at A4 size as I was making an 8x8 card I wanted the image to be the main focus.  I have also used the CD to print out 2 backing papers, I have used one on the front in the 1/2 circle and 1 on the inside.
I used My Craft Studio to create the sentiment as I didnt have one in my stamps etc that fitted the occassion.

Here is a close up view (its upside down and not to sure why but you get the idea) of my handmade roses sprayed with CC's spray and sparkle iridescent. This is the first time I have used this on one of my projects an im really pleased with the effect.
I think I will make a nice box/envelobox for this rather than just the normal envelope as I think with the decoupage and the paper roses its rather bulky. Ill post pics when Im finished.

Hope you guys like it and as always your comments are appreciated

Storage for Card Candi

Evening all, I just thought I would share with you some pics of the storage I have made for my card candi. I have used my ultimate boxer board to make this. I have created little match boxes using the tutorial on the advance techniques DVD. There is just 10 drawers in this set but I am already in the process of making another 10 and I will attch it to this set so that all my candi fits into it.

I have used a backing paper from the forever friends CD and ribbon from my stash. I put chipboard down the 2 side and on top to make it a little more sterdy then just added the backing paper over the top.

As you can see it holds the candi really well. Im really pleased with how its turned out.
Let me know what you think.

Birthday Card for my Dad

Good Evening everyone, I hope you have all had a lovely Sunday. I havent really been up to much as im having a bit of trouble with my knee today. It always plays up but due to some home decorating yesterday its bad today :(. So whilst I was out of action for more decorating I thought id crack on with this birthday card I need for me Dad's birthday tomorrow.

I have used the Forever Friends Retro Cd Rom to make the Pyramage for this card. My dad plays guitar and drums in the local pub band so thought this would be perfect for him.
I have used the sketch over at Pink Gem but im not sure that it actually fits into the challenge so I havent entered it as yet. If anyone can advise me on this I would really appreciate it.

My sentiment stamp is a Pink Gem stamp
Used a MS border punch (not sure on the name)
Dp's are from Pink Petticoat Ive had for ages and the mirror board and candy are from my stash
I used Silhouette Design Studio to create the 'Dad' and cut it out with my Robo.

Hope you like it and any comments really appreciated.
Thanks for popping by.

Comissioned Wedding card

Afternoon everyone, what a glorious day where having today here in Liverpool. I however, am stuck in doors as I am having central heating fitted and have got 2 workmen in an out all day so its very noisy here today so not much crafting getting done as I cant concentrate. On a lighter note I made this wedding card and wanted to share it with you.

The image is from Papercraft Inspirations and was a free download advertised in the mag a few months back. I used My craft studio to resize the image and then mounted it for some mat and layering. I used my robo to cut out the 'me & mrs' which i then glittered to give the card some glitz. Again I have made some paper roses using one of the backing papers so they would match and again I have glittered them

Let me know what you think.

New jars for my paper roses

Evening, I said I would show you my new jars to keep my Paper roses in so here they are.

They are from asda and cost me £3 and I just love them. Ive added the ribbon just to finish them off. Id made loads of these roses so needed somewhere to put them. I have been making more in other colours today to fill more jars as I just love how they look on my 'spare' craft desk.
Bargain I reckon.
Off to visit some more blogs now.

Football Commissioned card

Good Afternoon all, hope your all enjoying your Sunday. Im taking a break from cleaning the house to have a spot of lunch and catch up on some blog hopping and wanted to share with you a card I made on Friday. It was a commissioned card for a friend I used to work with. It is her sisters 21st Birthday this weekend and she is a massive Evertonian so she wanted a footy card, however I have made everton cards for her in the past so wanted something a bit different and a bit special. Let me know what you think.

I used My Craft Studio to resize and tile the everton badge image whifh i got from google images, this makes up the backing paper. I then printed out the badge 5 times and cut it up to make a decoupaged badge for inside the rosette. The rosette is made with stripes of ribbon cut at approx 5cm and just stuck to the back of a scalloped circle which I cut on my cricut.
I used my Robo to cut the '21 today' (as my cricut has broken and is being sent off for repair *sob sob*).

This is a close up of some of my paper roses I made to go with this project, i just love how these look and at how easy they are to make. I have added some glitter but the pic doesnt do it justice.

Ill be back later with a picture of my new 'jars' which I am using to store all my paper roses in as I sat making a load of these friday night when my virgin went off.
Any comments really appreciated

Birthday 'card' for my Sister

Good afternoon ladies, just wanted to share with you this lovely 'card' I have made for my sisters birthday today. I saw this on another lovely blog HERE and this is my take on it.

This is the side view of the outside. I have used lots of different patterned papers from the forever friends 6x6 packs and the Fizzy Moon celebratiuons 6x6 pack.

This is the front view and I have used a die cut Tatty Ted which I coloured with my promarkers.

This is when I have untied the ribbon and it startes to open out.

This is it fully opened out. Again I have used more of the patterned papers to decorate the inside. I have also used some die cuts and decoupage from the Me to you bumper collection pack. I have used some flowers from my stash from Pink Gem Designs which I coloured in using my promarkers to match the colours in the papers. I have also added some flat back gems to give it a little bit of bling.

Just a close up view so you can see the toppers a bit better

This is a close up view of my handmade roses I have included this as I am entering this into the challenges over at Papertake Weekly which is - 'grow your own', they wnat to see handmade flowers on your projects this week. I have layered up the flowers on the inside and coloured them in to make them my own BUT these roses I have masde from scratch.

My craft room

I said I would post some piccies once id sorted out my PC etc so here they are. Now bare in mind this is tidy for me lol

This is my feature wall, I used my Cricut to cut out these letters using Storybook cart, the butterflies and swirls are off this too. I added some flat back gems for a bit of bling.

This is my main storage area and this holds everything from stamps, punches, papers, pens etc (basically the majority of my stash).

This is my main craft desk still a bit messy but hey thats how I work lol
This is where my now new and improved PC is housed (4 1/2 gb Ram). The RAM arriving this morning is what inspired me to do a revamp of my room lol.
This is my shelving unit that houses my 3 favourite machines, my Cricut and Robo and below my Printer.

Just some of my A4 and A5 card stock.

This is my other desk where my laptop will now stay (Roslyn will be able to use this now aswell, she already says thats her desk lol) My large Xcut guillotine.

My handy storage baskets with my punches and just out of shot behind my Dr Who mini ablum is my Cuttlebug.

Just showing a few scrapbook kits there in the corner and in the box files is all my magazines for easy storing.

Just a few more storage boxes including my ribbon, glitter, flowers, card candy and any lose toppers i have.

Right thats all the way around the room, I hope you have enjoyed your little tour of my crafty space.

2nd Christmas card of 2011

Well I seem to be on a bit of a roll today and I have just finished my 2nd Christmas Card. I stamped this image earlier as I wanted to try it in a few colour combo's so thought I would crack on and make a 2nd card with it. Now to b honest this was a bit daunting as I have not tried this technique before - White on White.
I have used my new Penguin with gift stamp again from Pink Gem Design I have coloured him with promarkers and then added purple glitter for a bit if bling and white glitter for the snow.
I have used cuttlebug embossing folder 'swiss dots' as a backing paper and the sentiment stamp is from penelope and percy stamp set by Do Crafts.
The snowflake has been cut from Silluette design studio using my Robo and I just resized it a few times to make the nested flakes.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
A Gem of a challenge - White on White
Simon says stamp challenge - Christmas in August

Hope you like it, im pleased with how it turned out.

1st Christmas Card of 2011

Good Afternoon everyone, hope you are all having a lovely Sunday. Bit dull and rainy her in Liverpool today so it has given me plenty of time to go blog hopping and do some crafting.
I have have made my 1st Christmas card as the title suggests. I fell in love with this image over on a friends blog last week so off I went and ordered it from Pink Gem Designs, you can find him HERE.

I also bought the sentiment stamp and penguin backing paper from Pink Gem Designs (the papers are a digi and are just fab). I coloured Penguin in with my promarkers and then used a quicky glue pen on the present and tree and his hat so I could use my glitter to give it a bit of bling.
The snowflakes DP are from the CC cute christmas collection (I had this printed out to use on another project but hijacked it for this one instead).

Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Christmas in August
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Hope you like it and as always any comments muchly appreciated.

Retro Forever Friends CD Rom

Hi everyone I recently got the FF retro collection CD Rom and I wanted to share my 1st project using it.
I was asked to create a 50th birthday card by my brother for a colleague he works with as she was turning 50 today. I made an 8x8in card so that there was enough space for everyone to sign it in work.

Recipe:
DP is from the daisy and dandelion A5 paper collection - pinic patch
CB embossing folder - D'vine swirls
MS doily lace punch
Cricut cart = alphalicious
FF retro cd rom collection
Peper roses made using video tutorial by Stephanie Weightman - click HERE to view video. I used Silhouette design studio to cut my 8 petal flower.

I am entering this into the following challenege:
